##### Wed July 29, 2026 - Delightful, Delicious Wednesday Summer Evening Ride, D/C+/C- - SPECIAL EDITION, followed by live music

Level C- through D: 9-12mph, 20-25 miles. Meet at Pastorius Park, 8201 Millman Street, near Hartwell Lane. The ride leaves at 5:00 pm. For July 29: Special Edition, leaving from Chestnut Hill's Patorius Park at 5:00pm. When we return from the ride, we'll be just in time for the outdoor concert in Pastorius Park, hosted by the Chestnut Hill Community Association. The program for July 29 will be the Deb Callahan band, celebrating the music of RAY CHARLES. The concert begins at 7:30pm, but folks begin to arive in the park ~7:00 to 7:15, in order to set-up their lawn chairs & bankets. Please feel free to bring a lawn chair or blanket in your car. More details on the Pastorius Park concerts are posted here: https://www.chestnuthill.org/pastorius_park_summer_concerts.php In case of rain, the concert will take place nearby, in the Auditorium of Springside Chestnut Hill Academy's Middle School, 8000 Cherokee St, Phila. 19118. PARKING for the ride and the concert: Easiest place to park, with closest access to the concert area would be the 8200 block of Millman St, near Hartwell Lane. Street parking is also avaiable on Sunrise Ln and Roanoke St.
GENERIC DESCRIPTION: Most summer Wednesday evenings, weather permitting. Gently paced, post-work ride to pedal away stresses, suited for novice or returning riders, newcomers to the area, and/or anyone seeking a low-intensity recovery ride. Peaceful roads Eastern Mont Co, w/brief rest stop. Please bring lights. Preregistration saves you writing time at the start. Meet in parking lot of Flourtown Shop Ctr Bethlehem Pike (McDonald's in front, facing the Pike). In September, as evening daylight shortens, this ride will meet earlier (5:45, then, 5:30). Helmets are required on all club rides. Please also bring two bottles for water/Gatorade, as well as front & rear bike lights. RESTROOMS are available at Pastorius Park. PUBLIC TRANSIT: SEPTA buses run along Germantown Ave. Nearby train stations inc;ude Chestnut Hill East & West. Cue sheets will be available. Preregistration is required, please preregister by Wednesday, July 29, 2026 at 5:00 pm.
