##### Fri September 18, 2026 - Scenic Friday Frolic w/Linda. Fischer Park > East Greenville, via Skymount Lake - 5-Star KEEPER! CO-LEADERS WELCOME to lead alternative pace groups.

Level B-: 14mph, 50.4 miles. Meet at Fischer's Park in Towamencin, 2235 Bustard Rd, Harleysville, PA 19438. The ride leaves at 9:00 am.
For September 18: Spectacular route to East Greenville, based on adapted from an original route by Wes Wolf, with a few extra spins by Charlie B. From Fischer's Park on Bustard Rd, cycle to East Greenville (in the northwestern corner of Montgomery County). Visit Hometown Creamery in East Greenville, at Mile 27. (In addition to the creamery, we can also stop at a nearby cafe.) On the outbound, we pass the peaceful Unami Creek and Skymount Lake. (Skymount Park at Mile 18 has a porta-loo.) On the return, we cross Green Lane Reservoir and Deep Creek Lake. At Mile 41, restroom/porta-loo is available if needed at Upper Salford Park. Total elevation gain 3102 ft, averaging 61 ft/mile, but most of the climbing is before the ice/cream food stop in East Greenville.

GENERIC DESCRIPTION: scenic adventures by bike on most Fridays, throughout the year. Explore pretty, peaceful roads in suburban counties. Starting points will vary, so that we can cycle through different regions. Please check daily calendar for details of each Friday's route. On-line route map provided for each ride. If weather conditions are not conducive to cycling, this ride may be replaced by a hike/walk. As long as we are enjoying outdoor exercise, and Mother Nature, in the company of friends, we'll have a memorable outing. Cue sheets will not be available.
