About us
We are an independent, locally owned yoga studio. Sukha is a yoga sanskrit term that means ease, happiness, bliss and good space. It is our mission to create a community that fosters these qualities through offerings of yoga, meditation classes, yoga parties, workshops and spiritual wellness classes.
We offer a full schedule of yoga classes and a variety of events and workshops (fees apply). We welcome all yogis, from those new to yoga looking to improve flexibility and health to those advanced practitioners wanting to deepen their physical and spiritual practice.

Writing as Spiritual Practice: Opening the Channel
Sukha Yoga, 1020 Railroad Ave, Novato, CA, USJoin Rachel Ross, Yoga Instructor, Reiki Practitioner, Writer & author of Chemo Yogi for this special workshop.
This gathering is an invitation back into your creative soul—a return to the intuitive flow of your inner poetry, your inner song, and the deep listening that lives beneath the noise of everyday life.
We’ll gather in a warm, intentional community to slow down and reconnect. Rachel will gently guide the workshop with simple movement, self-Reiki, and intuitive writing—creating a safe, spacious container where the body softens, the nervous system settles, and words can flow from a place of ease and inner knowing.
You’ll be invited into sensory-based writing that arises from the body and breath. If you wish, you may share your words aloud and be witnessed in a circle of deep, respectful listening. In this shared space, stress releases, inspiration returns, and a quiet sense of healing and empowerment emerges.
You’ll leave feeling grounded, lighter, and more connected—to your creative self and to community.
What we’ll share:
• Gentle yoga to soften and open the body
• Self-Reiki to support ease, flow, and creative openness
• Intuitive writing prompts rooted in sensation and deep listening
• Time to write freely in silence and safety
• Optional sharing
• Deep listening
• Closing meditation and blessingNo yoga or writing experience needed—just your presence and an open heart.

Vivation Breathwork
Sukha Yoga, 1020 Railroad Ave, Novato, CA, USCraving more calm, clarity, and a deeper sense of connection to your body?
You are invited to join Russell Kimberly for a 2-hour immersive breathwork journey into the subtle
intelligence of the body and the quiet wisdom of the breath. This workshop explores Vivation Breathing, a gentle yet profound conscious breathing practice that invites awareness, presence, and deep inner integration. Through breath, sensation, and stillness, the experience creates the conditions for the nervous system to soften, emotions to
unfold naturally, and consciousness to settle into greater clarity. What Is Vivation Breathing?
Vivation is a conscious breathing method rooted in presence rather than force. By gently increasing awareness of sensation in the body, the practice teaches the nervous system how to remain relaxed within intensity. As resistance softens, stored stress, emotion, and unconscious
patterns are invited into awareness, not to be fixed, but to be integrated. This is a practice of listening, allowing, and remembering.
Russell Kimberly, a High Impact Healer and Breathwork Coach, brings over five years of dedicated practice and one-on-one facilitation. His work weaves together breath, nervous system regulation, and embodied spirituality to support healing from the inside out. What Participants Will Experience
During this 2-hour experience, participants will move through:
A brief introduction to the science and philosophy behind Vivation breathing
A guided, multi-round Vivation breathwork journey, including slow, fast, and breath-retention phases
Spacious time for integration, stillness, and reflectionThe workshop is choice-based and trauma-informed, honoring each participant’s unique rhythm and inner process. No prior breathwork experience is required.
Come as you are. Leave more attuned to your breath, your body, and the quiet stillness beneath it all.
