Since I have made many experiences with people not showing up, I require you to sign up with your details in an external tool. Your attendance at any event is only confirmed when I receive your prepayment for your registration. Otherwise, I cannot guarantee your spot.
We organize regular events that are aimed at anyone who is interested. Feel free to join and bring a friend! Activities are always more fun together and a great opportunity to meet new people. We try to have a balance between Internationals and Swiss. Most events will be in English, although some might require german skills. When this happens, it will be highlighted in the event description.
Whether you grew up in Switzerland, moved here as an ex-pat, or are just traveling through, feel free to join our adventures and follow the group to get inspiration on what can be experienced in Switzerland.

This is the beginner’s course for absolute newbies. If you ever had an interest in climbing and do not know where to begin, this is it.
A full day of outdoor climbing will teach you the basics of top-rope and lead climbing along with the required knots and safety techniques to get you started. As with all things, practice makes perfect. In order to retain the knowledge of the course, it is essential that you get to practice your new skills right after the course.
After the great feedback for this course, we are bringing it back this spring. This course is once again intended for absolute beginners. No previous knowledge or equipment is required. The goal of this course is to give you a first overview of the knowledge required to safely climb with a partner in top rope and lead climbing. After the course, you will have a good understanding if climbing is a sport for you to get into. No equipment is required for this course. You may simply rent the harness and helmet from us, in case you do not have one. The course will be led by a certified mountain guide with a maximum of eight participants.
The reason that I have developed an interest in climbing has been my passion for mountaineering. In the Summer of 2020, I organized a tour to the Piz Morteratsch, an interesting peak that has a lot of variety on the ascend. One section consists of scrambling. Already there, we could tell that having some climbing experience might be useful. Now, I am not even a mediocre climber, but I feel much more comfortable with difficult terrain in the alpine setting. I wish to continue building my skills to allow me to conquer ever more difficult routes. And I wish to give you this opportunity as well. It is not our intention to become the next best climber but to feel secure on more difficult routes. Join us on our adventure to more technical peaks in the Swiss alps. Start with this beginner’s climbing course!
Alternatively, you have started to indoor climb or boulder with a couple of friends and wish to take the next step. You too, are welcome to join us in learning the required belay techniques to start your climbing journey!
This course is also a prerequisite for some of the advanced courses, such as the fall course or the multi-pitch course.
