🤝 Sun City Sapphics Volunteer Day at Metropolitan Ministries

Join Sun City Sapphics for a meaningful afternoon giving back to our community at Metropolitan Ministries. This volunteer shift is a great way to show up together during the holiday season and support the programs that serve families across Tampa Bay.
You may be placed in one of these areas depending on the day’s needs:

• Clothing Warehouse/Thrift Store: accepting donations, sorting items for the store & Outreach.
• Kitchen: prepping, cleaning, cooking, and serving meals (ages 12+ only).
• Environmental Team: general support for the residential campus.

✨ This shift is open to ages 8+ (8–13 must be with an adult; 14+ can volunteer without a chaperone).

### 📋 Check-In & Logistics

• Check-In: Volunteer Engagement Center (look for the blue awning).
• Parking: On-site at 120 E Ross Ave or across the street at 2001 N. Florida Ave.
• Personal Items: Leave purses/electronics at home or locked in your trunk.

### 👕 Dress Code (Required)

• Long pants
• Closed-toe shoes
• Shirt with sleeves (no tank tops)
• Jeans + a simple tee are perfect!

### 🔗 IMPORTANT: Everyone Must Register Individually

Every volunteer needs to create an account and sign the required liability waiver via Metro Ministries’ system. Guardians can register minors using their own contact info.
