🤝 Habitat for Humanity ReStore Volunteer Day

Join Sun City Sapphics as we give back to our local community with a morning of volunteering at Habitat for Humanity's ReStore! We'll spend the day helping organize, merchandise, and prepare donated items that directly support Habitat's mission of building and repairing affordable homes for families in our community.
No experience is necessary—just come ready to lend a hand, meet fellow sapphics, and make a positive impact together.
Volunteer activities may include:
🛠️ Organizing and pricing merchandise
📦 Sorting and moving donations
🪑 Assembling furniture or displays
✨ Cleaning and preparing items for sale
🏪 Supporting the ReStore team wherever needed
Important Information:
• Shift: 9:00 AM–1:00 PM
• Location: Habitat for Humanity ReStore (N. Florida Ave.)
• Capacity: 10 volunteers
• Wear closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothing you don't mind getting a little dusty.
• Bring a reusable water bottle and be prepared for light lifting and standing.
Before attending: All volunteers must complete Habitat for Humanity's registration and waiver before the event. Registration details will be sent after you RSVP.
If your plans change, please update your RSVP as soon as possible so another community member can take your spot. Since volunteer opportunities are limited, we ask that you only RSVP if you're confident you can attend.
