Details
This will be a MELLOW + hike due to a slightly longer distance.
NOTE: change from original posting as the pre hike revealed a difficult trail drop.
We will do 6.2 miles on the San Tan Trail, Hedgehog and San Tan Trail again, in San Tan Regional Park. This will be an in and out hike. The main attraction and destination will be a CRESTED SAGUARO, a rare growth malformation in cacti that does strange but beautiful things to a Saguaro cactus.🌵
The AEG will be 350 feet.
Driver's fee is $3 plus a share of the park entry fee of $7.
Optional lunch San Tan Flat.
