This is a favorite hike in the Superstition Mountains. From the First Water trailhead, we cross First Water Creek several times on our way to Parker Pass. There is a gradual elevation gain and along the way we are treated to interesting rock formations, washes, and distant views of Weaver’s Needle, the Superstition Ridge-line, and Black Mesa. We take a break at the Pass; then retrace our steps back to the trailhead.

***Trail is rocky. There is one creek crossing with running water. Trekking poles are highly recommended.

***Last 2 miles of the drive to the trailhead is on an un-maintained dirt road.

Leader is Alison Geislinger - 480-329-4035

Driver's fee is $7 + $3 for dirt road travel = $10
