MELLOW: Tom's Thumb, Feldspar, Marcus Landslide Loop (1.5 miles) plus a short out and back on the easy but scenic part of Marcus Landslide for a total of 3.5 miles with an elevation gain of 347 feet.
An easy scenic trail offering nice mountain views, large saguaros, and unique rock formations like mushroom shape rocks. There are interpretive signs along the way that explain the rock formations and describe the presence of extinct species that used to roam the area.
There are good restrooms but no water at the trailhead.

Driving Directions:
Turn right at Riggs, and then left at Alma School Road. Get on AZ-101 Loop N in Chandler from S Alma School Rd, W Queen Creek Rd and S Price Rd. Follow AZ-101 Loop N to N Pima Rd in Scottsdale. Take exit 36 from AZ-101 Loop.
Continue on N Pima Rd to your destination. Use the right lane that quickly merges onto N Pima Rd. After .7 miles turn right to stay on N Pima Rd.
After about 4 miles turn right onto E Happy Valley Rd. At the first and second traffic circles, continue straight to stay on E Happy Valley Rd
Continue onto N 118th St and then turn right onto E Ranch Gate Rd.
After 1.3 miles turn right onto N 128th St. At the traffic circle, continue straight and then a slight left. Turn right. You are now at the trailhead - 12943 E Paraiso Dr, Scottsdale, AZ 85255
