Mellow hike - San Tan Mountain Regional Park. San Tan- Hedgehog- Moonlight trails.
4.6 miles with 347’ of elevation gain.
Drivers fee: $4 plus a share of the $7 park entrance fee.
Optional lunch at San Tan Flats
A fairly easy trail with a moderate ascent that has breaks in between and several benches along the way to rest and take in the views of the Malpais hills.

Driving Directions:
Turn right on Riggs Road and drive 10 miles to So. Higley Rd. Turn right on Higley and drive 5.9 miles to Ellsworth Rd. Turn right on Ellsworth and go 1.4 miles to N.Thompson Rd. Drive 2 miles to Phillips Road. Turn right on Phillips Road and drive 2 mile to the park entrance.
There are toilet facilities at the trailhead.
