The Javelina Canyon Trail would be
4.1 miles, round trip, with an elevation gain of 482 feet. This will be a loop hike starting on the Beverly Canyon Trail crossing over to the National Trail. At the half way point we will climb up to the stone house for a picture, your snacks and a rest. From here we will proceed up to the saddle to start the descent on the Javelina Canyon Trail back to the parking lot. Rocky trail in parts so bring poles just to be safe.
Driving directions: Leave Sun Lakes going West on Riggs Road to Interstate 10 going North. Continue North until you exit onto Baseline Road. Left (West) on Baseline to 46th Street, exit left at light. This will take you to the parking lot about 1 block ahead.

Take interstate 10 south to East 202.
Exit right onto Price Road South to Germann. Left at Germann to Dobson Road. Left on Dobson Road and immediate Right into Pecos Village center. Should be about a block in on your right.
