MELLOW: Adero Canyon

Adero Canyon is located in the McDowell Mountain Preserve in Fountain Hills. This hike has beautiful views of Four Peaks, Weavers Needle and Fountain Hills. Summer rains have washed some rubble onto the trails so hiking poles are highly recommended (during the pre-hike there were several points which would be very difficult to manage without sticks which are VERY STRONGLY RECOMMENDED!!). We will hike the Promenade Trail to the Sonoran Trail to the Lower Sonoran Trail. This hike is a 4.2-mile loop with an AEG of 400 feet. There are full restroom facilities at the trailhead. There will be an optional lunch following the hike.
Driver's fee $7 for the 80-mile round trip
