A club favorite and one of the nicer hikes in Tucson and worth the drive. This is s scenic summit loop hike with panoramic views of Tucson and the surrounding mountains. We will start at the King Canyon Trailhead and summit via the Gould Mine Trail, the Sendero Esperanto Trail and the Norris Trail. The descent will take us on the King Canyon Trail back to the Parking lot with an option to see Petroglyphs along the wash adjacent to the trail. Two mine shafts (sulfur scented) and a ruin building are part of the experience. For directions, enter Sonora Desert Museum into Google Maps. The trailhead parking lot is across the street from the museum.
