  • Code Katas Meetup

    Online event

UPDATE: All future Code Katas events will be online until there is at least a vaccine for the Coronavirus. Look for a link an hour before the event in the comments section. Code Katas We get together monthly to do some code challenges. All skill levels are welcome, and feel free to bring food or beverages. We usually do challenges on codewars.com or codefights.com, but depending on the night and who shows up, we might switch it up and do freecodecamp.com or try out a new resource. Try a challenge on your own, and share your solution with the group, or share your screen and walk through the code kata with help. We hope to see you here! • Open Code

    Online event

Open Code is a meetup where coders get together and work on personal projects, work related material, or just simply want to hang out and ask questions. All you need is your laptop! Once outside of the building, please call the number that will be posted in the window for the meetup, and someone will be right down to let you into the building. ___ This Meetup is co-hosted by the Suncoast Developers Guild (http://www.meetup.com/suncoast-devs/) and Callyo. The purpose of Open Code is to provide a safe place for developers to code in the company of each other. We want you all to feel welcome; whether you are experienced or just trying to figure out how to get started. You’ll find many people at our meetup working with different technologies and programming languages. This is encouraged! If you are stuck on a problem and looking for help there may be a developer there experienced in that technology who is willing to help. It happens, often! We don’t have any particular format, and we won’t be doing any presentations. But we do a brief round of introductions at about 7:15 just to help break the ice and get to know each other a bit.
