Attendees should have an intermediate knowledge of JavaScript and some exposure to ES2015.

Requirements
• Laptop that is WiFi capable. Laptops are required to complete the course. However, if you do not have one and would simply like to attend as an observer, you're certainly welcomed to sign up and you'll still learn a lot!
• Optionally, your favorite text editor (e.g. Sublime Text, Vim or Atom, not a word processor like Word). We will be using Codepen.io as an optional replacement to these.
Agenda
• Introduction to Facebook’s ReactJS Framework (http://facebook.github.io/react/). Used by Facebook, Instagram, Netflix, Salesforce, Yahoo, Squarespace, Intuit, Khan Academy, and countless other companies
• Features like one-way data flow and a Virtual DOM, ReactJS helps you develop an architecture beyond HTML by allowing you to build components and subcomponents that can be isolated and reused
• Creating the view state for data to be rendered in HTML
• There’s also React Native (https://facebook.github.io/react-native/) which creates an architecture for native iOS and Android application development.
We will have beverages and light snacks.
