CINCO DE MAYO FTA EVENT AT J.B. STARKEY PARK !!

J.B Starkey WIlderness Park, 10500 Wilderness Park Blvd, New Port RIchey, FL

Suncoast FTA has the group site A at Starkey Park reserved for May 2nd thru May 4th. This is the group area we usually have for this event.

Tents & hammocks only, non electric group site, potable water on site, restrooms / showers are within walking distance.

GROUP CAMPING: You drive up to the site, walk in with your gear, drop it off, then park your vehicle out in the "corral", Requesting a $5.00 donation for anyone camping.

Campground is very close to Publix and restaurants.

Saturday is our main event day. If just coming Saturday, there is no day use fee. Park in the corral, there will be signs

LOOK WHAT WE GOT PLANNED! hikes, bikes, games, fun times!

FRIDAY night--hot dogs, and fixings, Potluck bring something to share,,NO,campfire this time!

SATURDAY -
Sue B. will be leading a hike,, 3 mile loop trail,,,meet at the corral 10 am.

Other events are in the planning stage

After the hike Saturday morning, we will have lunch as a Mexican food themed (take off of Cinco de Mayo).. about noon-ish at the group campground.
FTA will be furnishing taco meat, taco shells, hard shell and soft shell, meat, cheese, lettuce.. Please bring an item to share for the lunch and an FTA donation to cover costs.! Requesting a $10 donation to cover costs.

AFTERNOON: Fun and games volleyball,

SUNDAY MORNING BREAKFAST--FTA will be providing eggs, bacon, bread, butter, please bring an item to share or an FTA donation! About 9:00-ish at the primitive group site
