Trout Creek is Open! Hike

The Trout Creek Park trailhead has reopened! Let’s get in about 7.5 miles along and across the Hillsborough River and through the pretty woods. We’ll stay on the designated trails, which should still be dry. All but about a mile of this hike will be in full or partial shade. Our pace will be about 2.5 mph.
It will be warm, so hydrate beforehand and bring at least a liter of water. The bathrooms at the trailhead are open, but the water fountain is not working. There is a $2 charge for parking if the meter is working (it hasn’t in a long time). I’ll have up a Florida Trail Event sign, so please get there and get ready and signed up so we can walk at 7:30.
