Withlacoochie River County park Trail Maintenance

The Park's trails need our help! We will need many volunteers to help cut back vegetation with loppers and work with the certified Sawyers to clear the trail. There is work for all skill levels and training will be provided. It is hot but you can work as hard as you want for as long as you want. We will be close to the cars and bathrooms. Bring a friend!

It may be wet but will be hot. We should be working in the shade!! Bring a small backpack with lots of water (2 quarts or more) to drink, bug spray, and any snack you would like.

You MUST have closed toed shoes, long pants. Long sleeves are recommended to keep bugs and poison ivy off your arms and legs. I will have gloves, eye protection (you can wear sunglasses/regular glasses), and Loppers. You may bring your own. I will have paint if you want to paint instead of use loppers.
