😼🥾 TrailCATS Work Day⚒ English Creek Nature Preserve in Plant City

• The English Creek Preserve in Plant City, FL, is a nature preserve with a focus on education and environmental studies.

• It offers nature trails, a seasonally flowing spring, and a raised boardwalk, as well as an Environmental Study Center jointly used by the Institute for Food and Agricultural Sciences (IFAS) and the University of Florida.

• The center is available by appointment for teaching, training, workshops, and special events.

• Join preserve staff for a beautification project at English Creek Preserve. The project will include trash and debris cleanup along SR 60, including barbed wire removal.

• Work gloves, proper footwear, hat, insect repellent, water, snacks.

• As a special treat, volunteers will have access to a preserve not normally open to the public.

• Minimum age 10 (minors must be accompanied by a chaperone and have a guardian's signature)
