Let's hike Walton Ranch

Details
Let's meet in the parking lot by the porta potty at 8am to beat the heat. This is about a a 2.5 hour hike in beautiful Walton Ranch, 7020 North Toledo Blade Blvd. in Northport. Exit 179, Go left, (north) for 1.2 miles, past the gate for less than half a mile to the parking lot on the right. You will see a porta potty.
We will hike for about 6 miles, 2.5 to 3 hours viewing wet and dry marsh, Pine scrub, Oak hammocks, and pasture land with cattle, deer and wild pigs. This is a working ranch open to the public. We should see plenty of birds in the marshy areas. I will do my best to keep us on the dry trails. Optional lunch after the hike, will be open to discussion.
Bring bug spray and water and sunscreen. Most trails are in the shade. Wear decent hiking shoes or sneakers, no flip flops. We will saddle up at 8:20. These trails are pretty well marked.
