Ride the General Van Fleet Trail From Mabel Trailhead

Let's meet at the Mabel Trailhead at 9 am and saddle up at 9:15. This is a 34 mile r/t ride through the Green Swamp. It is scenic, mostly in the shade and paved. Ride at your own pace and turn around when ever you like, you cannot get lost. We'll ride to a bridge about 17 miles south, take a break, and ride back. Make pit stops where ever you like, there are rest rooms at the trailheads. Make sure your bikes are in good condition and the tires hold air. It's a good idea to check the tires the night before the ride. I will ride in light rain but not in thunder storms.
Optional lunch after the ride, There is a Cracker Barrel nearby but any ideas are welcome.
