Let's ride the General Van Fleet Trail From the Mabel Trailhead

I'm re- scheduling Wednesday's ride due to bad weather to Aug 4th, Mon.
Let's meet at the Mabel Trailhead at 9am and saddle up by 9:15 This is a 34 mile R/T ride thru the Green Swamp. It is gorgeous and mostly in the shade and paved. We will ride at our own pace and turn around when ever you like, you can't get lost. We will ride to a bridge about 17 miles south, take a break and ride back. Make pit stops whenever you like. There are rest rooms at the trailheads. Make sure your bikes are in good condition and the tires hold air. It's a good idea to check the tires the night before the ride. I will not ride in thunder storms or heavy rain. An optional lunch after the ride would be fun, there is a Cracker Barrel nearby.
