Suncoast Outdoors encourages our members to participate in volunteer opportunities involving the resources we use and enjoy. We have a number of folks who are members of the Hillsborough County TrailCats volunteer work crew. Come on out and lend a hand! This will be medium/light duty work.

Requirements: Minimum age 10 (minors must be accompanied by a chaperone and have a guardian's signature)
Description:
Join a Trail CATS Workday at Camp Bayou! The trails at Camp Bayou need refreshing, especially the Blue Trail or "Palmetto Pass".
Work will include remarking trails, and trimming overgrown vegetation on the trail.
What to Bring:

  • Closed-toe shoes - sturdy hiking or work boots recommended
  • Work gloves
  • Water
  • Hat and sun protection
  • Sunscreen
  • Bug spray

Tools are provided, or you can bring your own loppers if preferred.
Bob will have a county waiver/ registration for you to sign. Hillsborough County provides work comp coverage in the event of a work related injury.
