Join The Sunday Alternative for a Picnic and Improv Games this August.
We welcome our Sunday Alternative friend Stuart Moses as our Improv coach for the day - no experience required, just a willingness to be a little silly.
Bring a sun hat, your coolest glasses, some food, and a rug.
There’s a Sunday Market behind Waitrose in Caversham that has tasty treats if you’re coming from that direction. (Note: we won’t have our normal coffee and cakes available.)
There is normally a coffee stall by the pedestrian bridge.
Like all Assemblies, we’ll throw in a few songs.
We’ll publish the songs beforehand because there will be no overhead projector.
We’ll be in Christchurch Meadows, hopefully north of the pedestrian bridge.
About the Improv
Stuart says:
"We’ll play a range of fun games, including some physical and movement-based exercises (nothing too strenuous), in a friendly and supportive atmosphere. You don’t need any previous improv, acting or stand-up comedy experience. Just bring yourself — you are enough. Everyone is welcome!"
