June Assembly: Buzzing for Beekeeping

Details

This month, we're trying to keep our bee puns at a gentle hum as we invite Grey Reavis (they/them) onto our stage. A veteran beekeeper for 13 years, Grey has lots to teach us about honeybees and many beekeeping stories to share.

Weather permitting, some bees will even visit in an observation hive. You won't want to miss it!

Kids welcome!
There's a children's playroom adjacent to the venue's main room, and a small playground just outside.

What happens at an Assembly
This Assembly will be focused on getting artsy, but most Assemblies hit these highlights:

  • Music with our band (singing along is encouraged!)
  • Some light conversation with an icebreaker question
  • Our main event
  • Some smaller segments on science, news, and meaningful readings
  • More music!
  • Snacks and chats

Parking at Pacifica
We recommend parking along Hanna St. There is handicapped parking in the small parking lot off the roundabout, with more around the back of the venue.
