Sunday Assembly Book Club is back to discuss a light yet thoughtful novella: A Psalm for the Wild Built by Becky Chambers.

On the surface, the book follows the quiet life of a young monk's travels from town to town and their eventual discontentment with that easy life.

But the book also explores its setting, a post-industrial pastoral utopia. Whether or not the world Chambers presents appeals to you, it is bound to elicit a response, and that's why we're eager to discuss it. At about one hundred pages, it's a lightweight way to get into some headier conversations about how we all imagine our society's future.

So pick up your e-reader, headphones, or hardcover (shop local!), and dig in.

Then join us at the Chapel Hill Public Library on Tuesday, October 21st.
