November Assembly: Gathering Your Thankfulness
Details
Study after study tells us that a regular practice of being thankful improves our lives, including fighting back depressive feelings, which we could all use as we head into the dark winter.
Thankfully (hah!) we Americans have one holiday each year to remind ourselves to practice thankfulness.
So before we fill our bellies at the end of the month, let’s practice appreciating what we have now. When we meet next week, we’ll reflect on what we have, focus on the wonderful feeling of being thankful, and share and learn about the things each of us cherish, and how we cherish them.
We think it will be a special time, and we hope you’ll come.
(Please note that we start at 10:30, so please plan to arrive before then.)

Kids welcome!
There's a children's playroom adjacent to the venue's main room, and a small playground just outside.
What happens at an Assembly
Most Assemblies hit these highlights:
- Pop music with our band (singing along is encouraged!)
 - Some light conversation with an icebreaker question
 - Our main event
 - Some smaller segments on science, news, and meaningful readings
 - More music!
 - Snacks and chats

Parking at Pacifica
We recommend parking along Hanna St. There is handicapped parking in the small parking lot off the roundabout, with more around the back of the venue.
