Holidays are a wonderful yet stressful part of the year and it can take a lot out of us. We here at Sunday Assembly believed that understanding holiday burnout is an important part of recovering from the holidays. Not only is this a universal experience, it can happen at any point in the year!

While there is a lot of research on what burnout is, there are not enough people being educated on this topic. People can spend years of their lives in burnout without realizing it, believing there is something wrong with them and are not being treated properly while told they are not enough. This is why we believe it is necessary to de-stigmatize and bring light to the topic!

Join us as we talk about what holiday specific burnout and non-seasonal burnout is, what causes it, and what you can do if you are experiencing burnout. You don't have to go through this feeling alone! Together we will work through a plan of what to do the next time you or a loved one is experiencing burnout.

We would love to see you there!

P.S. We're starting at 11am this time, so you've got that extra 30 minutes from our usual start time.

Kids welcome!
There's a children's playroom adjacent to the venue's main room, and a small playground just outside.

What happens at an Assembly
Most Assemblies hit these highlights:

  • Some light conversation with an icebreaker question
  • Our main event
  • Some smaller segments on science, news, and meaningful readings
  • Snacks and chats

Parking at Pacifica
We recommend parking along Hanna St. There is handicapped parking in the small parking lot off the roundabout, with more around the back of the venue.
