March Assembly: A Spring of Baby Animals and Melting ICE
Details
This year, we celebrate the coming equinox with two springtime themes: baby animals and melting ICE.
Maintaining one's mental health is more important than ever within our current political climate. As a community that is radically inclusive, we find meaning and peace in welcoming our neighbors of any status or identity. Threats to them, and to ourselves, are attacks on our ability to live better and help often.
So, first we'll recharge with uplifting songs and pictures of cute baby animals!
And then we'll work on our activity for the month: making signs for the No Kings protest on March 28th. Materials and a brief tutorial with examples will be provided.
We will try our best to keep hope and kindness alive, and channel that energy into action. Please join us on Sunday March 8th for music, sharing, and crafting, and also on Saturday March 28th for the protest.
Sunday Assembly is entirely run by people like you, and we greatly value your input to make our community a better place for all to Live Better, Help Often, and Wonder More.

Kids welcome!
There's a children's playroom adjacent to the venue's main room, and a small playground just outside.
What happens at an Assembly
Most Assemblies hit these highlights:
- Some light conversation with an icebreaker question
- Our main event
- Some smaller segments on science, news, and meaningful readings
- Snacks and chats

Parking at Pacifica
We recommend parking along Hanna St. There is handicapped parking in the small parking lot off the roundabout, with more around the back of the venue.
