SACH Bookclub: "Slaughterhouse Five"
Details
==== We meet on the 28th, not the 21st. I'm sorry for the mixup! ====
Sunday Assembly Bookclub is back tackling a classic: Kurt Vonnegut's Slaughterhouse Five. It is an anti-war book set in the firebombing of Dresden in WW2, which Vonnegut himself experienced. More than mere autobiography or historrical fiction, it throws in elements sci-fi, with the protagonist becoming literally stuck in time.
The book was an instant hit, despite being censored in some places for its content and language, and it's been a classic 35(!) years since.
So join us for a good read, guaranteed, and we'll see you on Tuesday 4/21 at the library!
P.S. As always, support your local booksellers like Flyleaf and [Golden Fig](www.goldenfigbooks.com/search/site/Slaughterhouse Five)!
