Mother's Day Assembly: Arts and Crafts Day!
Details
We are celebrating Mother's Day with the power of arts and crafts! With the warm weather fully in bloom, it is a wonderful time to get creative and make something for the people you love (including yourself).
New to this years collection of arts and crafts, we will have a small printmaking station where you can make your own prints! It is encouraged that you have an idea in mind, but you can let your creative process take over instead. We will also be providing coloring pages, acrylic paint, origami and play dough.
We are encouraging people to bring their own arts and crafts! We have a good variety to start, but we would love to see what you like to create with.
Let's show and celebrate how much we love our loved ones with the power of arts and crafts!
P.S. Snacking is an important (really!) part of every Assembly. We provide some, and we ask people to bring whatever speaks to them, be it bought, baked, savory, salty, or sweet.
Kids welcome
Of all the Assemblies of the year, our Arts and Crafts day is surely the most kid friendly :-)
What happens at an Assembly
This assembly is different, but most Assemblies hit these highlights:
- Some light conversation with an icebreaker question
- Our main event
- Some smaller segments on science, news, and meaningful readings
- Snacks and chats
