Sunday Assembly Sacramento
Details
Sunday Assembly is a secular congregation that meets once a month to share our stories, create community, and learn from our experiences. We are inclusive and everyone is valued here.
Our Speaker for March: Gregory Dilts
Gregory Dilts is a clinical psychology PhD student at Fielding Graduate University and a longtime resident of the Sacramento area. He received his master's degree in clincial psychology from FGU and his bachelor's in psychology from CSU Sacramento.
He will be presenting on his dissertation topic, the perceived benefits of participating in Sunday Assembly in the US cultural context. He is set to defend his dissertation this Spring. Greg will be providing an overview of the academic literature on this topic, a description of qualitative research applications, and the progress of his own research.
Sunday Assembly Sacramento is held in the Reason Center at 1300 Ethan Way, Suite 675 toward the back of the building. As always, families are welcome and child care is provided. The doors open at 10:30 am and the program will begin at 11:00 am.
We will have a speaker, a short Doing Your Best presentation by a member, a time for members to share their Milestones, and a potluck. Please bring a dish to share unless you are a newcomer. Donuts and coffee are provided. Hope to see you there!
