About us
### What the group is about
We are a casual hiking group for outdoor lovers based. We organize day hikes, alpine lake trips and overnight backpacking adventures throughout the local mountains. We focus on enjoying nature, taking in mountain views, and exploring beautiful backcountry trails together, not rushing to hit fast paces.
### Who should join
Anyone who loves hiking and mountain scenery, from beginner hikers looking for easy scenic trails to intermediate hikers ready for more challenging alpine routes. We welcome locals and newcomers. You just need basic hiking footwear, a positive attitude and respect for the wilderness.
### Why they should join
Hiking alone can be boring and unsafe. Join us to meet friendly like-minded outdoor people, discover hidden mountain lakes and viewpoints you might not find by yourself. We share trail tips, gear advice, and take group photos at iconic spots. It’s a great way to make new friends while staying active.
### What members can expect
We host regular scheduled hikes with clear difficulty ratings, route info and packing lists ahead of every trip. On each hike, we stick together as a group, pause for photos and snacks, and follow Leave No Trace wilderness rules. We also share trail updates, carpool options and post-trip photo albums. We are not a race — we stop to enjoy the view!
