Yosemite Hike from Yosemite Village to Yosemite Falls

ABOUT THE HIKES: Following check out at Curry Village, we drive to the Yosemite Village parking lot and walk 5/10 minutes to the Yosemite Village Visitor Center. We meetup at 10 AM in front of the Visitor Center for a one mile, flat walk to the base of Yosemite Falls. The view approaching the falls and at the falls are spectacular with many photo opportunities along the way. The hike from the falls follows a scenic loop one mile, flat return through the pines to the Visitor Center. Following the hike we suggest you plan to visit the various attractions in Yosemite Village, including the museum, Indian Village, Ansel Adams Gallery and the General Store offering all things "Yosemite." Restrooms are available adjacent to the Visitor Center.

As we depart the Park for our Sunday afternoon drive home, you may stop at the Bridalveil Fall parking area for the self guided half-mile round trip hike to the base of the Falls to complete our Yosemite hiking experiences.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS: The drive from Curry Village to Yosemite Village is about ten minute (unless you miss the turns on one way roads). Please note the Yosemite Valley and accompanying Meetup map for directions. Please plan to arrive early for the meetup as parking within Yosemite Valley can be challenging. Restrooms are available at the Visitor Center meetup location.
