I say BRING IT!
An umbrella and rain coat that is. ☔🧥 I do not plan to stand in the pouring rain, and these events are rain or shine, plus the Art Center Grad show is indoors, if's raining we will be inside. There is a chance you may get wet, but this will be an epic adventure so, please plan accordingly. 😊

We can see how the day plays out and head back early to catch OC1668 @ 4:27pm, and if needed, leave South Pasadena by 3:45pm to make the last Metrolink.

The Eclectic Music Festival & Arts Crawl is a free event that celebrates the arts and offers a chance for folks to enjoy a Saturday in South Pasadena. The Eclectic, now in its 15th year, is organized and produced by the South Pasadena Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the City of South Pasadena, and Sid The Cat Presents. The Eclectic has grown into a signature event for the city, featuring dozens of diverse, local and regional musical acts, one-of-a-kind artisans and makers, interactive activities, open galleries, beer and wine gardens, and family-friendly fun.

This year’s event on Saturday, April 26th will feature musicians on stages and intimate venues all across town. The Artisans’ Alley is a curated outdoor marketplace featuring unique, handmade, and vintage items, bringing together makers of handcrafted jewelry, clothing, accessories, art, home goods, and specialty items. Also in this area will be interactive art activities, food trucks, photo ops, music, and more. Over 20 local businesses are participating with special activities inside or out front of their stores.

At least two of these events offer food, but bring a snack in case we don't hit a food stop till after noon. Bring an extra layer for morning/evening, an umbrella, coat, pre apply sunscreen, wear a hat and wear comfortable walking shoes we’ll be walking 5+ miles mostly hard flat surfaces with some hills and stairs along the way. Bring a refillable bottle of water for the walk and a snack for before/after lunch. Any mileage quoted may be understated, YMMV.
