NEWPORT BEACH SUMMER CONCERT ON THE GREEN - PACIFIC SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA

The City of Newport Beach Arts Commission presents its annual Summer Concerts Series on the Green featuring an array of performers for your entertainment. Bring your low-slung beach chairs and blankets and enjoy an evening in a fun atmosphere. No alcohol is permitted at the concert venue. Concerts are held on the Newport Beach Civic Center Green (100 Civic Center Drive, Newport Beach). Admission and parking are free.

ABOUT THE MEETUP HIKE AND PICNIC:
Join your Sunrise to Sunset Meetup friends for a Sunday afternoon walk and picnic in Newport Beach. We beat the parking and seating rush, with a 4 PM meetup at the Civic Center Library entrance. You may place your lawn chain on the green at the start of the walk as we pass the concert venue. Seating is not reserved, on a first come first served basis. We then proceed with a one hour walk through the beautiful Civic Center Open Space with its amazing sculptures and a window shopping tour of Fashion Island. At 5 p.m., we return to picnic tables adjacent to the library for a potluck picnic dinner. Bring food to share. BYOBeverage. Your event host will provide plates and utensils. Following the picnic, we return to seating at the concert venue. Restrooms are available at both the library and concert venue. (If you can't make the walk, come for the picnic. If you can't make the picnic, come for the dancing.)

DRIVING DIRECTIONS: Entrance to parking for the Civiic Center and Public Library is from MacArthur or Avocado. See event map for details. We meetup a the main (south) entry to the Library.
