Aliso Creek Beach Walk and Starfish Happy Hour

Join Susan, Randy, and Sunrise to Sunset Hikers for an afternoon walk on the beach, followed by Happy Hour refreshments at Starfish in Laguna Beach.

ABOUT THE HIKE: We will meetup at Starfish Laguna Beach in the Aliso Creek Plaza and proceed across PCH, past the Montage Hotel, and down to Treasure Island Beach. The route will explore sea caves, tide pools, and a hard pack sand walk along Aliso Creek Beach. The hike involves ramps, stairs, and sand passages, as such should be considered Advanced Beginner. The hike will take about 90 minutes and will be approximately three miles in distance at a relatively slow pace. We say approximately because the hike route can be affected by the tides. You will need shoes that accommodate both sidewalks and sand. This is a scenic hike with magnificent views along a world class beach.

ABOUT HAPPY HOUR: We will have a reserved table for ten on the patio, with the possibility of expanding that based on actual participation and seating availability at Meetup.
