Good Times in Laguna Canyon

Join us in Laguna Canyon for Wine Tasting and/or Live Music at The Festival of Arts. We are meeting at 2:30PM to enjoy some flavorful wines at Mc Clain Cellars in the "HIVE" at 849 Laguna Canyon Road, (next to the Sawdust Festival) Laguna Beach. Locals Jason and Sofia Mc Clain are creators of fine wines sourced from the Santa Ynez Valley. The tasting lounge has a modern-industrial vibe and shaded patio. There is a variety of wine tasting flights starting at $30 or by the glass starting at $18. They offer a large selection of cheeses, meats, charcuterie, crackers, and more.
On the grounds of the Festival of Arts on the Festival concert stage from 5:30-7:00PM Surf City All Stars, a Beach Boys Tribute band will be performing. The Festival of Arts is located at 650 Laguna Canyon Rd, Laguna Beach, across the street from the HIVE. The Festival of Arts Show features Orange County artists. The Festival showcases a variety of mediums and artwork styles to browse and purchase directly from the artists.

Mc Clain Cellars wine tasting is from 2:30-4:30PM. Seating is subject to availability. Allow yourself plenty of time to secure parking. Parking is tricky this time of year in Laguna Beach due to the festivals in the canyon. There is limited metered parking at the HIVE and several public parking lots nearby. You can also take the Laguna Beach Trolly which is free. Public parking Lot 16, up the canyon offers $10 all day parking, and you can hop on the free trolly from there.
Transition time from 4:30-5:30PM lets you walk across the street to the Festival of Arts and get your admission ticket. Tickets: $15 General Admission, $11 Senior Citizen (65+), Free Admission for Military and Laguna Beach residents, must provide valid ID - you still need to go to the Box Office for your admission ticket. Most of the seating is reserved at $65 a ticket. No pets. Be prepared, you'll likely be standing. TIP - before you head over to Mc Clain Cellars, get your Festival of Arts ticket, go inside and find a spot to put down a blanket, so you'll have seating when you come back later. Food, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are available for purchase. You can bring food and alcohol (no glass bottles or glasses are permitted) in containers no larger than 14x14x14. Bonus: your admission ticket is good all day! This means you can enjoy the Art Show pre-wine tasting or after the music ends.
