5 Bridges Walk and Free San Diego Museum of Art
Join us for a unique weekday adventure to San Diego via train!

We’ll pair the Metrolink $15 SoCal Day Pass with the $15 Coaster Regional Day Pass — note seniors are ½ price.

🚶 What We’ll Do:
• Take the train from Irvine to San Diego (hop on the Orange line from Orange to San Clemente)
• Have coffee and breakfast at Swami’s Café
• Travel to Balboa Park and walk the 5 bridges
• visit the San Diego Museum of Art – Free 2nd Thursday! (Aug 14, 2025)
• Expect to walk 6–8 miles throughout the day

🕓 Schedule Overview:
Outbound – Metrolink + Coaster:
• 🕕 6:00 AM: Arrive Irvine Train Station, get your ticket, and meet on Platform 2 (near side)
• 🕕 6:23 AM: Depart Irvine Station on Metrolink IE/OC 803
• 🕖 7:24 AM: Arrive at Oceanside Transit Center
• ⏱️ 12 minutes to buy Coaster Day Pass
• 🕢 7:36 AM: Depart on Coaster 628 to San Diego
Return – Coaster + Metrolink:
• 🕓 4:20 PM: Depart San Diego on Coaster 637
• 🕔 5:22 PM: Arrive Oceanside
• 🕠 5:39 PM: Depart Oceanside on Metrolink IE/OC 824
• 🕕 6:38 PM: Arrive back at Irvine Station

Buy at Irvine Station via the ticket machine:

Buy at Oceanside Transit Center using the Pronto kiosk
(Located near the tunnel between platforms)
Parking at Irvine Sation is Free.
⚠️ Avoid using bills larger than $20 — machines may not give change.
