What We're Doing: The largest one-day street faire in the nation hits Carlsbad Village! 900+ arts & crafts booths, antiques, global food court, live music, kids’ rides, beer garden. Fall edition runs 8 AM – 4 PM.

We will meet at Irvine train station at 8:20am Get your $10 Weekend Day Pass at the station kiosks and meet us on platform 2 for Metrolink IE/OC Line #1857
· Departs Irvine: 8:40 AM
· Arrives Oceanside: 9:36 AM
· We will walk ~ 3 miles to Carlsbad Village Street Faire arriving ~ 11:45am
Our total mileage will be 6+ miles. YMMV.

There are two Metrolink Return train options from Oceanside back to Irvine we should be fine to walk back at 4:00pm to catch
OC 1667 OC 1667 5:23 pm arriving Irvine at 6:28pm

or last Metrolink train IEOC 1860 6:23 pm Oceanside Arrives Irvine 7:24 pm

It’s ~3mi and 1 hour walk for reference from Carlsbad Village station to Oceansisde Transit Center.

Optional: for $5 we can take Coaster train 681 at 3:57pm to catch NB Metrolink trains back to Irvine at 5:23pm and 6:23pm

Pre apply sunscreen, wear a hat, an extra layer, wear comfortable walking shoes we’ll be walking 6+ miles mostly hard flat surfaces with some hills and stairs along the way. Bring a refillable bottle of water for the walk and a snack for before or after lunch. Pack your own lunch if you like. We will eat from various vendors / restaurants at the event.

• at Irvine Station Platform 2 the near side or Onboard Metrolink IE/OC 1857 from Irvine
• Or at Oceanside Transit Center by the ped underpass after we arrive in Oceanside ~9:36am
