San Clemente Seas Summit Trail Hike

Join us for a scenic hike on the Seas Summit Trail in San Clemente. This is an advanced beginner/moderate out and back hike, due to several areas of stair climbing.
It is my understanding that due to mudslides, much of the beach trail is closed, so we will only be able to walk about a quarter of a mile of the beach trail before turning back. We will likely only hike about 3 - 3.5 miles, and I suspect without walking all the way to the pier, we might be out and back in less than 1.5 hours.
We will start at Starbucks at the San Clemente Outlets to add some extra mileage.
You might want to bring a flashlight in the event that we are not back before dark.
There will be steady inclines, some narrow sections and uneven dirt terrain, with rewarding ocean and canyon views along the way. We will probably see a magnificent sunset!
Please bring water, a flashlight, and a positive attitude.
