🚄 Let’s take the Train2LA and a mystery Urban Hike!
What I can tell you:
From Irvine Station we’ll take OC 1661 @ 9:21am to LA Union, scheduled to arrive LA at 10:34 am.
What happens next is a mystery…
I will say that we will have lunch with multiple options, or pack your own, and see many amazing things, expect to walk 6-8 miles, probably more.

In Irvine, Look for Chris on Platform 1 on the far side, use the bridge to cross the tracks.

At Union Station in Los Angeles meet in front of Starbucks and Wetzel’s at 10:40 AM there is a bathroom and water refill station nearby.

We’ll take OC 1668 back leaving at 4:27pm from Union Station arriving in Irvine at 5:36pm.

To buy your Metrolink ticket at the station Use the Metrolink ticket kiosk, hit Buy Tickets, then So Cal Day Pass. Follow the instructions on the ticket vending machine screen. Note: Do not pay with a Bill larger than a $20 or you may not get change!
Pre apply sunscreen, wear a hat and wear comfortable walking shoes we’ll be walking 6-8+ miles mostly hard flat surfaces with some hills and stairs along the way. Bring a refillable bottle of water for the walk and a snack for before or after lunch.
