Join us for a Train trip to DTLA where we will have the opportunity to explore the 102 year old Spring Arts building, home of The Last Bookstore. We will take Metrolink OC661 from Irvine Station to Union Station (LAUS), head over to Grand Central Market for lunch, and then walk over to The Spring Arts Tower Takeover.
This multi-floor pop-up market experience transforms the 12-story Spring Arts Tower into a vibrant hub filled with indie authors, garage sellers, vinyl, vintage clothing, art, collectibles, zines, and local vendors. We will get to explore this DTLA treasure, offering a rare glimpse into both the rich past and the creative future of Los Angeles.

🕘 9:00 AM: Arrive Irvine Metrolink Station, Park, get Ticket Meet and us on Platform 1
🕘 9:21 AM: Depart Irvine on Metrolink OC Line 661
🕥 10:35 AM: Arrive at LA Union Station (LAUS) & walk/transit to Grand Central Market
🕚 11:15 AM – 12:15 PM: Lunch & exploring at Grand Central Market
🕧 12:30 PM: Walk over to The Last Bookstore (453 S Spring St)
🕧 12:45 PM – 3:30 PM: Explore the Spring Arts Tower Takeover multi-floor market
🕞 3:30 PM: Walk back toward LAUS for the return train

• Metrolink Pass: Purchase a $10 SoCal Day Pass ($5 Seniors) on the Metrolink app or at ticket kiosks at Irvine Station.
• Tower Admission: There is a possible $5 entry admission ticket required for the event. Some suggest Pre-purchasing your ticket online in advance to guarantee your entry window.
• Walking Distance: Wear comfortable walking shoes—we will likely walk around 4–6 miles throughout the day between stations, lunch, and exploring the market floors.
• Lunch & Shopping: Bring funds for lunch at Grand Central Market and any purchases at the tower market.
