What we’re about
Join Sunset Writers - a brand-new writing community - for its inaugural gathering on Wednesday, January 28, 2026 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM. The evening will start with introductions, allowing everyone an opportunity to get to know one another and build community. The rest of the event will be dedicated to quiet writing time. Writers are welcome to write in both electronic and handwritten mediums. Note that outlets may be limited, so plan accordingly. The lovely Sunset Commons, located at 1600 Irving Street, will host. Sunset Commons offers a third space for creatives in the Inner Sunset neighborhood and beyond. Drinks and snacks available for purchase.
