If you enjoy trying different cuisines, have an appreciation for food and an adventurous palate, then Sunshine Coast Dining is the group for you. Whilst the main focus will be on dinner, there will be an opportunity to join in for lunch and special events from time to time. Sunshine Coast Dining is for lovers of food who want to sample some of the great restaurants in our area and to enjoy fine dining experiences.
The aim is to schedule a dinner plus a lunch or brunch once a month at restaurants and cafes from Caloundra to Noosa and the Hinterlands, so two to three events per month. If you are looking to meet new people in a relaxed and social atmosphere and enjoy a great meal then you've found the right group.
Meetups will be limited in numbers depending on the venue and pre payment of deposits to confirm attendance will be required. Please note we ask members to provide a full Christian name and not just an initial. Likewise profile photographs must be of you, no children or animals please. This is an adults only group (child free) - apologies if this upsets anyone.
Membership Fee:
The group reconvened in August 2020 after COVID with a yearly fee of $15 which is one off fee for the financial year, so from July to June. After Christmas the fee will be reduced for new member to $10 for the remaining 6 months. If you are attending 2 events a month, if we were charging $2 per event you would be paying $48 for the year. We are one of the few non profit meetup groups on the Sunshine coast. At special events for example, Christmas and Easter we will supply something special for each attendee and at the end of the financial year we donate leftover finances to a deserving charity that the group decides on.
RSVP’s or No Shows:
We encourage each member to remove themselves from the Meetup in a timely manner if they can't attend due to numbers allocated for each event, people waiting on the waitlist attend and the amount of tables booked. If you do a No Show three times you will be removed for being inactive.
