Research has proven that hugging for 20 seconds or longer decreases heart rate, blood pressure, inflamation and cortisol, and increases immunity, dopamine, serotonin, endorphins and oxytocin. Science suggests that humans should have at least eight 20-second hugs a day for optimal health.

The Super Hug Club offers access to safe, physical connection through a community that supports one another in fulfilling this crucial need by Super Hugging. A Super Hug is a consensual, Intentional, platonic, 20-second-or-longer heart-to-heart embrace.

At a Super Hug Meetup, attendees will have the opportunity to experience the surge of mood-elevating hormones and neurotransmitters through participation in a Super Hug Rotation, where they will share Super Hugs with eight different partners.
