Underwater is where the cool kids party! Calling all scuba divers, freedivers, merfolk, and swimmers! Come splash around with our dive community! There will be music and pool access for you to hang out and socialize in the water.

Please remember that this is a social event, NOT a lesson, and attendees are responsible for their safety and risk management. Although lifeguards and dive professionals will be present, attendees are expected to act with prudence and participate in a just culture of safety. Underwater recreation is inherently risky, therefore, as a community, all must collaborate within their abilities to make shared spaces safer. Anyone who engages in reckless behavior, including substance use or hostility, will be denied the privilege of participation.

If you'd like to reserve equipment, you can do so for a small fee - please email info@superdive.nyc to make arrangements with at least 48 hours advance notice.

Social Scuba:

• Meet other scuba divers in the community! (This is NOT an instructor-led lesson.)
• Current enrollment in class or Open Water Scuba Diver certification is required to attend this event as a scuba diver.

Freedivers:

• Breath-hold activities are inherently risky and should only be done with proper qualification. All breath-holds require a proper breathe-up, recovery protocol, and direct 1-1 supervision by another certified freediver. Community Pool Party is a social event and not the right place for pushing or training; stay within your ability.

Mermaid Pod:

• A mermaid certification is not required to attend (this requirement will change in Summer 2024). However, we strongly recommend attending a Mermaid Class if you would like to learn the basics of mermaiding with an instructor.

First Timers: Before entering the water, you MUST RSVP and complete the onboarding process. The medical questionnaire may require a doctor's clearance before you can participate.
