About us
ICE agents in Florida are now actively arresting and deporting immigrants. Broad sweeps, people arrested without warrants, hardworking people, even US citizens, most detained unfairly and without due process. This is just not right.
SURE stands for Sarasota United for Responsibility and Equity. For more than twenty-five years, SURE has worked for Social Justice in Sarasota County. SURE volunteers are people of all faiths, age, race, and economic status, coming together to address injustice in our midst through direct action and in alliance with others. We invite you to join us Sundays at 4:00 pm in Payne Park Sarasota for Prayer and Protest seeking justice for immigrants, especially those detained at Alligator Alcatraz.
