The Surfing Meetup Group

Meet other local surfers to share stories, help out new people to the sport, talk waves, and plan outings and surf.

This is a group of local surfers looking to meet one another and be social. This is a very social group. It is very difficult to 'plan surf' here in New England, as the surf can be very sporadic. We plan surfing events when possible, but many of our events will be of the social nature including beach clean ups, surfrider fundraiser events, after work cocktail hours, and other events that members show an interest in.Through these social events, we can get to know one another, and when there is surf it will be much easier to find someone to hit the beach with.

This group is made up of, and for, its members. Have an idea for an event or looking for someone to go surf with? Please feel welcome to post it as a suggested meetup or to our discussion Board. I am sure you will find many people who would love to join you!

If you are not interested in participating in these other, more social events, you are still very welcome in the group, just be sure to adjust your account settings accordingly - to receive emails daily, weekly, or not at all if you would not like to hear about the events unless you visit the page.
