The Lavender Fields Hike

THE LAVENDER FIELDS (LINEAR WALK)

Our walk begins at CHIPSTEAD STATION and ends at COULSDON SOUTH OR COULSDON TOWN station

We cross idyllic Surrey countryside, crossing farms, fields of wheat and barley, through woodlands and past the towns of Banstead and Coulsdon.

We then arrive at the Lavender Farm where we spend an hour for lunch and visit the Lavender fields. This is quite a sight, both in terms of sight and smell

Walk length: About 9 miles

Walk pace: Brisk

TRAIN

Catch the 10.10 am from London Bridge

Arriving at 10.55 am in CHIPSTEAD

Or an earlier train and go to a nearby Cafe down the road from the station

CARS

There is parking along the road approaching the station but get there early as it's very limited. You will need to get a bus back from Coulsdon South (15 min trip) to Chipstead

Meet at: 10:55am

Leave for walk at 11.00 am

THERE ARE NO TOILETS AT THE STATION
